How Do Electronic Thermostats Work In HVAC System?

What Are Electronic Thermostats and How Do They Work In HVAC Systems?

A communicating electronic thermostat in an HVAC system is a device that can measure temperature and send out the result of the measurement; this means a thermostat basically switches the heating system on and off accordingly. 

It detects by sensing the air temperature, switches on when the heating of air temperature falls below the thermostat setting, and switches off when the set temperature has reached.  


This is typically found in larger buildings as a means of regulating the central heating/cooling system, per room or per area.


By spinning a room thermostat to a higher setting will not build the heat in the room. 


How speedily the room heats up depends on the design of the heating system. For example, the size of a boiler and radiators. 


Rotating a room thermostat to a lower setting will result, in the room can be controlled at a lower temperature and saving energy. 


The heating system doesn’t work if the time switch or programmer switch is off.
